Carrol Smith knows each neighborhood, and clearly has a good grasp on the details of them. She alerts the buyer of possible retail additions, or resale issues by being keenly aware of the 'goings-on' in each area. She always returns a call in a timely manner, even if the response is, "I don't know anything yet." As both a buyer and seller with her previously, I greatly appreciate not being hung out to dry waiting for information. Her persistence is legendary. Many have looked on in amazement that she can get someone to respond or accomplish something when others have failed. If there was a hiccup in the process, she responded with grace and persistence to make everything right. She kept her sense of humor as we faced each delay. I know her years of experience has taught her many different ways to solve a problem in a timely manner. If she lost sleep over something, it was because she was working on another solution. She is definitely a Never Quit person. This particular transaction took more than 300 days, and her enthusiasm for the sale did not wane at any point. Taking the time to hand deliver the escrow check and meet the other realtor in person made a significant difference in the ease of this transaction. This small effort, which many brokers feel is unimportant, made the transaction much easier to slide into home base because the two 'knew' each other more than an email or phone call. Her personal attention was always a factor in the success of the (many) steps along the way. The ability to do the closing remotely in your conference room during this (whatever we call it) time, made a significant difference to me. I felt safe, and that cleanliness protocols were followed. We had privacy, as well as connectivity to anyone and anything we needed. As soon as the remodeling construction of the house I just bought progresses, I look forward to listing my current house with Carrol. Please note that she assisted with the purchase of the home where I currently reside, and sale of my previous Duncanville home. I can't imagine calling anyone else for this process.
