Buyer reviewThough we haven't had many real estate deals in life, this one was complex in that it was a 1031 exchange on property sold in Maine to purchase in Atlantic Beach. Gray, who we always thought highly of as a family friend, literally became family the process. His sound knowledge of the local landscape helped him tailor our search to this ideal property. We came down Thanksgiving week to look at several properties and he took his time shaping our perspective helping us arrive at what we felt was the proper house for the dollar. If I recall properly, there was one day we had breakfast, lunch and dinner together, hence the labeling as family. We fully expected to see him at the Thanksgiving dinner table! Though 800 miles away during much of the process after the P&S was accepted, it really felt like Gray was right next to us all the way. Any potential hurdle in the due diligence process was eliminated with Gray's help. I like to think I run a successful practice and have attributes my clients admire but I can honestly say I benefited personally and professionally from working closer with him. I may have even picked up/stolen some of his great sayings!
