Henry L. Kaplan has been immersed in the real estate profession since 1984, bringing more than four decades of experience across sales, brokerage ownership, management, franchising, and technology.
He began his career as a sales associate in New York and quickly gravitated toward real estate technology at the dawn of the personal computer era. That early insight led to him being hired by Weichert Realtors, where he managed the firm’s centralized database of new listings and inventory and distributed that information across eight offices in the New York market—well ahead of its time.
In 1988, Henry founded HLK Realty and Rockland Rentals, in New City NY, successfully building the company until its sale in 1991 to CENTURY 21 Rand Realty in New City, New York. He then managed CENTURY 21 Rand’s rental division for several years, further refining his operational and leadership skills.
Henry’s career next brought him to Century 21 Headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey, where he created and led the Franchise Orientation Department. In this national role, he helped onboard and support new franchises across the country, contributing meaningfully to the brand’s growth.
A few years later, Henry transitioned into the real estate services field as a Regional Services Director, consulting with 93 brokerages across 154 Florida offices. This role offered him a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective on what truly drives brokerage success and agent productivity.
After a brief sabbatical, Henry returned to CENTURY 21 in management and ultimately joined CENTURY 21 Tenace Realty in 2007, where he presently serves as Sales Manager for nearly 20 years, mentoring 300+ agents, building careers, and helping professionals navigate both changing markets and evolving technology. On top of all this, Henry maintains an active Florida Real Estate license and is not a competing manager, working exclusively within his personal sphere of more than 12,000 long-standing contacts. He remains deeply engaged in the ever-changing real estate market, believing that staying informed and intellectually sharp is essential to leading and supporting agents effectively.
Originally from Rockland County, New York, Henry now resides in Florida. He is married to Nancy Kaplan and is the proud father of one son, Ethan. Outside of real estate, Henry and Nancy enjoy hosting Texas Hold’em charity poker tournaments benefiting Easterseals of West Palm Beach, tending to their large garden, kayaking, traveling, and—when time permits—occasionally resting.

Henry Kaplan went above and beyond the expectations of a realtor. Henry facilitated the next chapter in the life of my son and I. I was treated like I was his most important client. Because of the circumstances surrounding the sale of the house, there was adversity that would discourage most buyers. Henry made a promise and he kept it. Now Im a homeowner. I can't be thankful enough.
We're not done yet. I plan on buying more property and Henry
Kaplan is going to captain my ship once again.

We met Henry through good friends. I knew I would soon be needing a broker in the Boynton Beach area. Henry Listed the house and got a full price offer that afternoon. We had a lot of bumps in the road ahead (not by his doing) but he kept this patience and saw it through to closing. He is a true gentleman and professional.
