My name is Jacob Almeida, and I'm a 2nd generation Massachusetts real estate agent, investor, and property manager, specializing in residential and commercial real estate. Born and raised in the Southcoast areas of New Bedford and Dartmouth, I now reside in Westport, MA with my wife, kids, and a big "fur kid". When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching youth sports, traveling, and playing guitar.

I'm a graduate of Dartmouth High School and studied Business Management, and Computer Science at Bristol Community College, and Newbury College.

I've been involved in the real estate industry for over 17 years. During this time I've established strong relationships with several banks, lending institutions, contractors, and fellow landlords. I'm also a current member of the Greater New Bedford Landlord Association. I can be described as a detail-oriented, proactive, technologically savvy economics geek. I'm consistently monitoring the housing market, stock market, yield curve, and fed rates as well as keeping a close eye on consumer and corporate spending in an effort to provide my clients with the best market outlook in what is typically the largest investment(s) of their lives.

I was referred to Jacob Almeida from a close friend of mine who had recently sold his property in the same neighborhood. Mr. Almeida provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. When initially consulting with Mr., Almeida, we knew that we were in good hands and had the right person for the job. He provided us with a completed market analysis catered to our home along with other useful items that aided in the prepartion of the sale. His expertise of the market is unmatched, Mr. Almeida was able to secure an offer on the first open house due to his incredible insight for the home's asking price and knowledge of the current market. Mr. Almeida is now considered a good friend of mine, he has attracted the talents of many professionals due to his outstanding character and down to earth attitude. He had top recommendations for everything that was needed to prepare the house for sale, including professional basement work, Title 5 inspection, obtaining an Attorney, and most recently a great lender for the home I am currently under contract to purchase. I have known Jacob since he began his career as a real estate agent. I have been impressed by his success, dedication, and knowledge of the local market. This house required renovation before sale, and I knew he had experience with this. I could not be more pleased with the sale process. Jacob priced the home properly, was thoughtful about listing date and open houses, assured that we got excellent photos, and facilitated all aspects of the sale flawlessly. Jacob made himself available whenever we needed him, and I believe that he always gave me honest advice. He answered many late evening texts, and listed the house in a hurry when we asked him to. He helped us find a plumber when we were struggling. He is professional, knowledgeable and clearly has made useful connections in the local business scene. We are pleased with all aspects of our interactions with Century 21.

My wife and I were in the market for our first home, specifically looking for a multi-family property with close proximity to a newly acquired job. Living an hour away from our target location and having little awareness of the area, we were heavily reliant on a realtor with local knowledge. We were introduced to Jacob through a business referral and from the initial meeting through closing, he was timely, professional, detail-oriented, and engaging. In only a few short months and a couple of face-to-face interactions, Jacob was able to educate us on the local real estate market, guide us on constructing a fair and creative package, and utilize his internal network to artfully obtain a seller-acceptance on our first offer, which was competitively bid. There were several months in between our offer being accepted and the closing date, but Jacob made sure to check-in throughout the experience. It is our firm belief that without Jacob's ability to advise us on a strong and creative offer or his proactive actions and experience in facilitating certain steps up until closing, we would not have had our offer accepted or kept the process on track. Outside of Jacobs' ability to advise us from initial search to closing, he was also a key resource for our journey into our first investment property. He was able to answer countless questions regarding expectations of being a local landlord, provided insight for smart renovation strategies, and recommended local companies he's worked with for renovations and maintenance.
