Jim stepped into a house sale that required a special commitment. The house needed much work and he had to communicate with me, a daughter in Minnesota, and my mom in town in Ohio. Jim was very involved in the house purchasing. Jim's knowledge with Navy Federal appraisers in what they're looking for when they're doing their appraisals really help. if there was something wrong with the paint or even the foundation he would let me know immediately that it might not pass with their appraisals, and that really really help me make a decision on what kind of house I should get.

I had a great buying experience and would recommend Jim to anyone, and will use him again if I ever plan on selling. I was a first time home buyer, so of course I was a bit anxious about the whole process. I was also a difficult customer because I had a smaller budget, was looking for the perfect move-in-ready house in a small market, and I had just signed a rental lease so I wasn't looking to buy right away. When I first met with Jim, we sat down and he took the time to understand my situation and exactly what I was looking for. As we were walking through the very first house I decided to look at, he was pointing out all kinds of things that I would have missed. Things like water damage, cracks in brick, etc. After we finished, he said fairly bluntly that the house was overpriced and needed more work than what I was looking for. I knew from that point forward I could trust him. He wasn't just trying to sell a house, he was trying to find me the right house. I never felt pressured or rushed, and after we found the right house, the process was fast and smooth. I am very happy with the whole buying experience!
