When I tried to sell my house in an outside area the first time (2014) I had contacted Jeff to be my "buying" agent as I wanted someone local to the area I was considering. As a single buyer, it was important to me to have someone who knew the area and was looking out for my safety and comfort as much as I was. I also came to Jeff's office with a "list" of items I desired in my next home with a few "must haves". Jeff was great from the start. He really listened to what was important to me. He came up with a list of homes in a short time to show me knowing that I was not ready to put an offer in until my house was under contract, but to also help him get a sense of what I liked in homes. When my home failed to sell the first time, he kept in touch until I had relisted and had success selling it the second time. I must have taken him through 20 houses before I settled on what was a perfect house in a totally different area than expected. Jeff helped coach me through the offer letter process and although we didn't land the first house I put an offer on, a house he was honest about the sellers being unwilling to negotiate off list price, we landed a better house on my second offer in a nicer area with more features and a lower sticker! Through each house he learned what I liked as far as space, land, features and when I was distracted by attractive or less than attractive cosmetics of a home, he was checking breakers & such making sure no red flags stuck out that I missed. I have been in my new home a week officially as of yesterday and absolutely love it. Each day it is becoming more and more "home" and that would not have been possible without Jeff being patient, taking me on countless tours and giving me real feedback - not just trying to close a sale. There were some difficult moments in the purchase of this home but Jeff was patient through the rough spots. He did what needed to be done, stayed on top of things and got me my new home.
