I feel that John really went above and beyond in many aspects. We don't live in Chico, and when a neighbor of the property for sale saw that someone had broken into the house, she called me and I called John and John was at the property five minutes later, went through the house, called the police, and handled the situation for us. I never would have expected that. John made sure that nothing was forgotten. While selling a house on behalf of a 91 year old mother, shortly after the death of my 91 year old father, can not realistically be described as "easy", John certainly did everything possible to make it as easy on me and as easy on my mother as I could possibly imagine. When I got frustrated, he calmed me down with horror stories of other sales. When the Camp Fire was dominating the national news, he called to tell me the house was okay. He made helpful suggestions to our contractor regarding minor repairs and fixes that prevented possible delays later. I cannot imagine how to improve on John's performance except if he had acted as the agent for both us and the buyer. I really appreciated John throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond dealing with a very difficult seller. Im in another city, so John set up all the different inspections, repairs etc. I couldn't have done it without him! He's the best!

John sold us the house ten years ago. Over the years we had questions for John regarding possible sale of the property, repairs, and property value. He always answered our questions and never pressured us to make a decision. His patience paid off because when we were ready, he got the sale. John is efficient and organized. He had a total plan ready but the house sold so quickly we never had to have an Open House or complete his plan. We feel the advice he gave us to prepare the property ( termite and septic inspections) for sale was valuable in making it attractive for potential buyers.
