Meet Lauree Watkins - Your Neighborhood Realtor As a Georgia native raised in Savannah, I came to the Atlanta area in 1990 upon graduation from the University of Georgia. With a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a Sales Concentration, I was very fortunate to have worked both in inside and outside sales for various business forms companies; most recently as a contract employee at Coca-Cola USA within the forms management department. I have extensive knowledge in all facets of customer relations including negotiations, marketing, and communications and am very excited to bring that expertise to my real estate business! Happily married to my husband Trace for almost 25 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters. I have been a resident of South Forsyth County since 1993 and have seen the many changes and growth to this area over the last 21+ years! People dont believe me when I say I moved here when McGinnis Ferry and Old Atlanta Road was a 2 way stop sign…but its true! I strongly believe in the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to help others - especially kids! I am a Girl Scout Leader and Volunteer and have been one for the last 12 years helping young girls be the voice they need to be in todays world! I also enjoy volunteering at my church, St. Columbas Episcopal, and working with the youth program there. When not selling real estate, you can find me playing tennis out of the Olde Atlanta Club neighborhood and rummaging through estate sales looking for the perfect find! I specialize in the sale of new (my husband is a Residential General Contractor - a great source of knowledge to me!) and existing homes in the Northeast Corridor of Atlanta focusing primarily in the Forsyth, North Fulton, and Gwinett areas. I am very passionate about serving others and look forward to starting each day meeting new people and finding ways to help them reach their real estate goals!     Lauree Watkins is so knowledgeable of our neighborhood in Olde Atlanta Club. That really sets her apart from other realtors. She knew what we were working with and the other competition. Our home sold in less than 4 days for above asking price... and that was the highest our floor plan had actually sold for in our neighborhood. We would highly recommend Lauree to our friends and family!

    We noticed a neighbor had listed their house with Lauree Watkins. After just a few days the house was sold. On our neighborhood email, the sellers had commented how pleased they were with Lauree. So when we decided to list our home, we gave her a call. She was great to work with and made the entire process easy. Lauree did her homework and made her recommendations for the sales price. We feel that she did an excellent job and was spot on with her recommendation. She placed a "coming soon" sign in our yard and we actually sold before listing. She was a pleasure to work with.     We chose Lauree due to the fact that, upon first meeting her, she took an active role and quickly suggested ideas about improving the marketability of our home and was very clear about what she would do to advertise and present our home so that it stood out from the rest of the homes for sale in the area. She did her homework up front and explained very clearly what we could expect to receive for the home in the timeframe we wanted. Lauree held our hands through the ordeal of selling our home. My family had a lot of challenges thrown at us in a very short timeframe during the time we were trying to sell our home. Lauree recognized the stress of the situation for us and stepped in to help. I dare say, there is not another real estate professional that would take the time and expend the effort to do the things that Lauree did for us during that period. She brought every resource she had at her disposal to bear and was instrumental in the successful sale of our home. We would not have gotten the result that we did had she not been our agent. Lauree was kind and extremely patient with us. More importantly, she would listen to us, take our general guidance, and move forward making good decisions on our behalf. I couldn't be more pleased with her performance. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the advertising for our home. Lauree hired a professional photographer to take pictures and present the home at its best. The print advertising that she developed was far superior than anything else that we have seen for the houses in our area. I, myself, am all about convenience. The way in which Lauree would "buffer" us from the day-to-day dealings of contract negotiation and other concerns was very much appreciated. She bubbled things up to us only as needed. Of course, the curious person I am, I would ask about the details and she would gladly spend her time talking with us on the phone explaining everything. Our experience with Lauree was nothing short of fantastic. Lauree was the reason our house sold. Lauree was the reason we kept our sanity during a very stressful move out of the area and the process of selling a home while residing in another state. Her professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond was amazing. The sale of a home can be a very stressful event. In our case, that was amplified with the death of a family member, the purchase of a new home while selling our existing house and some unfortunate emergency repair needs in the home we were trying to sell. Lauree stepped in and bore much of the stress and effort to shield us from what she could. She was quick on her feet to work around the problems, hire contractors to address the repair needs all while showing the house and explaining the situation honestly and effectively with prospective buyers. There were numerous occasions where I thought the sale of our home was in jeopardy, but, somehow she salvaged the situation and we ended up with a fantastic result. Our chance meeting with Lauree and her husband on a day during which we were interviewing other real estate agents resulted in one of the best financial decisions my wife and I have made. She is absolutely wonderful!
