Meet Lauree Watkins - Your Neighborhood Realtor As a Georgia native raised in Savannah, I came to the Atlanta area in 1990 upon graduation from the University of Georgia. With a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a Sales Concentration, I was very fortunate to have worked both in inside and outside sales for various business forms companies; most recently as a contract employee at Coca-Cola USA within the forms management department. I have extensive knowledge in all facets of customer relations including negotiations, marketing, and communications and am very excited to bring that expertise to my real estate business! Happily married to my husband Trace for almost 25 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters. I have been a resident of South Forsyth County since 1993 and have seen the many changes and growth to this area over the last 21+ years! People dont believe me when I say I moved here when McGinnis Ferry and Old Atlanta Road was a 2 way stop sign…but its true! I strongly believe in the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to help others - especially kids! I am a Girl Scout Leader and Volunteer and have been one for the last 12 years helping young girls be the voice they need to be in todays world! I also enjoy volunteering at my church, St. Columbas Episcopal, and working with the youth program there. When not selling real estate, you can find me playing tennis out of the Olde Atlanta Club neighborhood and rummaging through estate sales looking for the perfect find! I specialize in the sale of new (my husband is a Residential General Contractor - a great source of knowledge to me!) and existing homes in the Northeast Corridor of Atlanta focusing primarily in the Forsyth, North Fulton, and Gwinett areas. I am very passionate about serving others and look forward to starting each day meeting new people and finding ways to help them reach their real estate goals! Buyer reviewLauree Watkins epitomizes what ,in our opinion, anyone would want in a real estate agent. This is a person who first listened to what we wanted in the selling of our house in OAC and then what we were looking for in our new home. She made suggestions that were on the money in order to improve the sale of the old home. She helped us find a professional contractor to enhance the sale of the home. This was a cost that was minimal and more than returned its value in the sale. That to us was "Above and Beyond" and certainly unexpected by us. Unfortunately, Dianne and I were involved in a horrific automobile accident during this process. Lauree jumped in, continued on, and handled not only her commitments on the professional level but also personal issues that Dianne and I could not. She even helped coordinate the move to our new home. THANK YOU Lauree. The Wylies could go on and on but we stop here. Seller reviewOur initial consultation with Lauree was approximately a year before we finally decided to put our property on the market. Lauree's feedback and guidance then allowed us to make necessary improvements to our property resulting in a quick and financially sound transaction. Improvements suggested proved to be imperative and vital resulting in a full asking price offer! Lauree's professionalism, experience, understanding of the local market conditions were simply exemplary leading to a desired outcome! In addition to an expert selling transaction, we hired Lauree to represent us a a buying agent, so not only Lauree was able to guide us through the sale of our property, but lead us through purchase of another property. Both transactions ended up executed flawlessly. Lauree's communication with buying and selling agents, inspectors, lender, closing firm were textbook - precise, thorough & timely. Not only we were impressed with Lauree's professionalism... we had a back-to-back closings and both buying (first) and selling (second) agents expressed their gratitude to Lauree for how all things were handled.

In today's market, having an experienced agent is vital and Lauree's ability to guide us through the sale of our property and purchasing a new home was instrumental. Her communication with us, the seller's agent, my lender, the closing firm were exemplary. To make things even more complicated, most of the process took place while we were out of town, but we had a complete confidence in Lauree's ability to represent our needs in all aspects of the buying process. Lauree is a seasoned professional with a complete understanding of all the nuances of selling/buying a property and her expertise is a comforting asset.
