My first impression was how quickly she emailed me and followed up by phone calls, so I asked my family to join me at our first meeting. Margaret came to my home prepared with many listings of similar homes in my neighborhood that were on the market. She spent almost 2 hours answering our questions and schooling us on asking prices and giving us good advice. It was clear she was a knowledgeable professional, however, before I met her in person she proved to be a genuinely helpful person, so at the end of our first meeting, I knew she was the best.

When it came time for me to find a house my parents recommended Margaret because she had previously help them buy and sell a home in Nassau County so she felt like family already. When I met her I told her everything I wanted and in the time frame that I wanted and she more than delivered on my expectations. She was able to keep up with my crazy schedule and answered me at all kinds of hours anytime I had a question she was always there to provide an answer and if she did not know she made it her business to find out. Whenever I felt discouraged or stressed out she would always tell me it's my job to worry I'll let you know when you need to worry and that's never because it's my job to worry. Whenever an issue arose she was always there to answer every question and stayed on top of everything that needed to get done for our new home. Not only did she help us find our dream home but she also helped us find grants that help to pay for at least 90% of our closing cost. She was more than a realtor she was my friend and is like family we would not have made it into our new home for the new year without her. We would truly like to thank her from the bottom of our heart thank you for all of your patience all of your kindness all of your hard work and dedication and making sure we were able to move in our home before our lease was up. It is because of you that I can watch my son grow up in our new home and we can start afresh in this new year. I wish there was a higher standard than "Excellent" - I would recommend Margaret Gilhooly-Pidala because she is superior to anyone I ever dealt with. Margaret sold my house; so many others tried and failed. She came all the way here for EVERY single appointment and showing. I thought the sale was going to be tough. She did it with such style and grace and HUMOR - who has humor these days???!! Margaret never once flinched when things got rocky. She just loves her job. She is a superstar.
