Her professional journey includes eight years in the Finance Department of a pharmaceutical company, as well as experience as a business owner—both of which sharpened her financial expertise and entrepreneurial mindset. Margarida became a homeowner 15 years ago, a pivotal moment that sparked her passion for real estate and helping others achieve the dream of homeownership. For the past 25 years, she has called New London County home, relocating there when her husband was stationed at the Naval Submarine Base New London. Originally from France, she began her U.S. journey in Rhode Island and has since made Eastern Connecticut her lifelong community. A certified Military Relocation Professional, Margarida is especially passionate about supporting veterans and displaced individuals in their housing journeys. Her work in real estate goes beyond transactions—she is committed to addressing the systemic issues of housing instability and homelessness through collaborative efforts with local stakeholders. Margarida's multicultural and multilingual background—fluent in French, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, and proficient in Spanish enables her to connect authentically with clients from all walks of life.
