Personal Profile

Salida has been home to Martin Epp since 1970. He became a real estate agent for First Colorado Land Office in 1995 and is currently the senior, full-time associate for the office. A few years back Martin was voted "Best Salida Real Estate Agent" in the annual Mountain Mail poll. Martin believes strongly in providing the same honesty, patience and attention to detail he would expect as a customer, and has an extensive knowledge of the area and the business. He enjoys his work, especially educating and empowering new buyers. Martin may be even better known among the town's people as "Best Salida Performer" as he was voted in 2013 and 2014 in the Mountain Mail poll. A fabulous guitarist, singer and songwriter, Martin has been entertaining the appreciative residents of the Arkansas River Valley and the Front Range, in several bands and many venues, for many years. A graduate of Salida High School, Martin is a great enthusiast of the area and enjoys camping, fishing, skiing, riding motorcycles and, of course, playing music. Service to the community has always been important to Martin, especially projects involving the welfare of children and the improvement of the local schools. As a member of The Salida Rotary Club he chairs the Programs Committee and the Annual Third Grader Dictionary Project and also donated time and funds to many other local charitable organizations. Martin and his wife Linda have two daughters who also graduated from Salida High School and went on to earn college degrees and successful careers. Linda and Martin love cats, particularly the Sphynx breed. They share their Salida home and their lives with several of these intelligent, unique animals.
