Many qualities and skills go into being an excellent REALTOR®. In my opinion, the most important is the ability to discover and address the diverse needs, wants, expectations, and concerns of different sellers and buyers. This ability can only come through really caring about people.

My first dealing with Melinda - the most knowledgeable, available, understanding, friendly, person was when I purchased 10 Spalding Circle, Wimberley, about 14 years ago. Then my husband and I purchased a house on the river in Martindale, again using Melinda. With Melinda's help I sold the Spalding Circle house about ten years ago - she had an absolutely exceptional video listing of the house, which I saved and look at occasionally. Next my husband and I sold the Martindale house with Melinda's help. Finally, for the second time I purchased the Spalding house that my daughter loves thanks to Melinda contacting me the minute she found out it was for sale. She is superb - the best realtor I have used while owning 9 different houses during my life.

We moved to TX from San Diego, a pretty insane real estate market. Selling our house in San Diego while buying our new home in TX. In San Diego, we had our choice of a large number of very experienced, professional real estate agents, and we picked the very best of them -- hundreds of 5-star Yelp reviews, #1 in volume for North County San Diego, all kinds of real estate awards, etc, etc.

Our San Diego agent certainly lived up to her reputation as one of the best real estate agents in San Diego, but she simply wasn't as good as Melinda Everett, from little Wimberly, TX.

Melinda was more active on our behalf than our San Diego agent (who was no slouch!), and more in touch with our concerns, having put in long hours getting to know exactly what we wanted and what we did not. Melinda fought for our best interests at every turn with such zeal that in the end, even the seller was so impressed with her that he told us he might use Melinda going forward and we certainly recommended he do so.

We had visited Wimberley 3 years ago and set a short term goal of moving here. I found a house that was interesting that Melinda had listed and subscribed to her listing emails. For 3 years I have received emails daily from Melinda on new listings in the area! When the time finally came for us to purchase our own slice of the hill country, Melinda walked us through the whole process with her knowledge of the area and her true love for Wimberley! We are eternally grateful for her truthful feedback and genuine care for the home buying process! The only way to improve Melinda would be to clone her!!??

Melinda Everett was very responsive to all of our needs and concerns. Her in-depth knowledge of the real estate market and available houses that met our discerning needs was incredible. Being out-of-town as we were, Melinda's local touch and willingness to dig deep and find the right set of houses for us to visit when we came to Wimberley was very appreciated.

Melinda was a rock from our initial contact in the summer. She sent multiple links to homes on the market in our desired areas so we could get a feel for the market, she was very helpful during our site visits in September and throughout the entire financing and closing processes listening to what we needed in a home and not just "selling" us a house. After the initial offer we made on a property, Melinda provided a list of names and phone numbers of local businesses to help us complete the inspections and other necessary work in a timely manner. I cannot say enough about how pleased Cyd and I are with Melinda and her efforts on our behalf to help us acquire, not just a house in Wimberley, but the home that we wanted.

Our overall experience with Melinda was excellent, as I have stated previously. Some of our experiences with the lender and the title company during the financing and closing phases seemed to consist of jumping through a bunch of unnecessary hoops, although Melinda did her best to mitigate the adverse impacts of those hurdles. As we worked through the sometimes laborious lending and closing processes, Melinda was always there to add a touch of rationality and an occasional kick-in-the-pants to the lenders to move them forward. I truly believe if Melinda had not been there to help us through these obstacles, this transaction would have fallen apart in short order. As it is, we are very happy to have closed and are in the process of moving to our new home in Wimberley.

Melinda is a true asset to Randall Morris & Associates. As Cyd stated early on in our home search process, "Melinda is our gal in Wimberley!" and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with her. In the future, we expect to send anyone looking for the perfect home in Wimberly to Melinda and Randall Morris & Associates.

Melinda was wonderful to work with, considering we are from California and did not know how different things worked in Texas, she was an absolute asset to us learning everything and helping us get through it all long distance.
