Felt very confident with Mike Slezak handling the transaction. As I mentioned in the other survey about the purchase of 1604 S. Monroe, I lived at 1116 S. Jackson for 46 years, and my husband died just over a year ago. Mike was very kind and considerate in these special circumstances. Everything happened quickly and correctly. I didn't worry about a thing.

My family and I enjoyed our residence on South Jackson St. for over 46 years. My two children who are adults now, grew up in the house, and over the years we also enjoyed the improvements we were able to make. I have beautiful memories of the years in that house. A little over a year following the death of my husband in October of 2019 after a very difficult battle with dementia, I realized that I had no need for a 4-bedroom house and 2 1/2 car garage. My younger brother had done business with Mike Slezak when he moved from North Carolina back to Michigan, and when I found the perfect size house for me, we called on Mike to take care of the process. I received offers on my home within 2 days of it being on the market. He explained the process thoroughly and answered every question we had. Mike was very considerate of the fact that this was a huge undertaking in my life having lived 46 years in the house I was planning to sell, and not long after a painful loss in my life. Mike took care of everything very professionally and with my interests and concerns up front as I sold the Jackson St. home and purchased 1604 S. Monroe St. in Bay City. Mike kept me posted along the way, I never worried about a thing. The transaction from beginning to end went very smooth, and that was very important for me and my family. I highly recommend Mike Slezak. He made me feel like I was the only client he had by his care and attention.

Mike Slezak is very personable and professional. I sold our first four homes myself.and enjoyed it. However, I felt impressed to list this house with Mike Slezak. He encouraged me to try selling it myself first. I'm grateful that we decided to list it because Mike was helpful in the negotiations and walking us through everything we needed to do. I would recommend Mike Slezak to anyone looking for a buyer's or seller's agent. He helped us sell our home and buy our new home. He is patient and kind in answering all questions without making you feel foolish or like you're imposing on his time.

Mike notices little things and points them out. He made us aware that our new home has both gas AND electric hookup for our stove and dryer. He pointed out where the internet connection comes into our home. That was helpful because I couldn't get connected and had to call Spectrum tech. I was able to show them what they needed to know because of Mike Slezak. He was always available and patient with our many questions. Mike is very personable and detail oriented. He seems to think of all the alternatives. I hope to never move again but if I do, I'll call Mike Slezak.

We have been looking for a building for many years! Mike took charge and got us in fast! He pays attention to detail and always has your best interest in mind.
