I began my real estate career in l990 after seven years of teaching in the Business Department at Schalmont Central School. I joined Century 21—the world-wide company with strong roots in my community, and recognizable to everyone. My family has been in Schoharie County for five generations. We are business people in our community. People know me. I have been involved with our community in many areas—and have served on the Planning Board and the ZBA.
I am President of Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association, a not-for-profit that supports two historical museums — the Schoharie Valley Railroad Museum, and the 1743 Palatine House Museum. I manage two annual Antique Shows as fundraising activities, which bring over 1500 visitors to the area for each event.
I own Generations, a vintage consignment shop, and I also own Schoharie Mercantile DBA, a shop where local artisans sell their wares.
Over the 35 years as a realtor, I have listed and sold many of the local properties for my neighbors and friends. My clients have become my friends. They contact me when they have real estate needs. Schoharie County is a very special place to live and be part of an active community. My love of the area is catching when I am with buyers from out of the area. And that makes it easy to sell my listings here. My love of history has put me in touch with many of our vintage homes—listing and selling those homes have become a specialty of mine.
Whatever real estate needs you may have, I would welcome the chance to talk to you.
