Seller reviewMy wife and I wanted to market our house at a price that was thousands of dollars higher than Steve recommended. Steve argued that setting the price in accordance with his recommendation would not only increase the pool of prospective buyers but would enhance our chances that someone would bid over the asking price. My wife and I were both disappointed (angry?), but decided that we would move forward with setting the asking price at the level Steve suggested. Steve put the house on the market on a cold Thursday in December, held an open house the follwing weekend--- and received five offers (all $30,000 over the asking price). We accepted one of the offers two days after the open house. It just doesn't get any better than that!!
