Steve became involved with this family years ago when I had thought to relocate to the Bay Area from Shasta County. Steve's name was given me by another agent, so I contacted him and over the course of some weeks he hauled me just about everywhere, showing me properties I could afford upon the sale of the home I own in Shasta County. Steve really took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my new home. Being that it's kind of a country property there were some things I'd never dealt with before (100 year old water rights agreements, private road maintenance agreements, well water and septic). He knew all about the things that are common for country properties, and did a lot of research on the old permits and agreements, to make sure I really knew what I was getting into. I was thankful for all the meticulous work, but also had a lot of fun with Steve cruising around and checking out properties.

Steve was easy to deal with, and very good at keeping us updated on the progress of the sellers' thinking, and making sure we engaged them in a way to achieve a positive result. He was very attentive to all the details we needed to get it done right for our particular requirements, which included a 1031 exchange.
