I am a longtime resident of Dothan, Al after spending the first couple of years of my life in Michigan. I married in 1996 to a wonderful and supportive man. We have an orange tabby, Gizmo, who is 18 years old (my old lady baby). After completing my bachelor's degree at Troy University, I spent the following 18 years in the banking industry holding various roles from Teller to Assistant Branch Manager. Once I left banking, I started a new career path in Real Estate in 2017. I enjoy helping clients with the next chapter of their life, whether it is buying or selling. In my Real Estate career, I have helped Veterans with their forever home, investors with their rentals, first time buyers start their life together , and I have helped buyer and sellers just starting over. I have experience in commercial sales, and property management.
Living so close to Florida, it only seemed natural to be able to help clients there as well. I look forward to the new opportunities in the Sunshine State as well as my home state of Alabama.
I began my fitness journey with Artisan Fitness Co., formerly Artisan CrossFit in 2017. I received my level 1 Certificate to coach in 2022. I love the community, the athletes, the coaches, and the lifestyle.

Buyer reviewTrista is one realtor that will not give up on you as long as you are trying. I was denied my first time buying a home 5 years ago, and throughout those 5 years, she still sent me housing ideas, and I kept her in the loop on my own progress. We probably looked at over 500 houses, and there were many that shocked us both as to why they are even for sell! Point is, Trista did not complain about time, gas, distance, and type of home we were looking at, even when she knew what we really wanted. She stood by our side, and she would remind me every now and then to keep my eye on the goal and dont settle for something you dont really want. If you want the best realtor that doesnt give up on you, stands by your side, and is your cheerleader for your new home then Trista Howell is the person you want by your side. We are very thankful to have been able to meet and do business with her. She is the best!

Seller reviewTrista was amazing and went above and beyond to get our property sold. It wasn't easy but she was diligent and throughough. Especially with us moving out of the area prior to sale, she communicated everything well and let us know exactly what things were needed.
