I needed to find a house asap after the death of my husband. I cannot remember the exact way Doug ended up my realtor, but I know he reached out to me when I was searching for homes, and his desire to help me find the right place at the right price was wonderful. If I saw something I was interested in, he had an appointment to see it within hours. He truly goes above and beyond. I'm very thankful Doug found me. I'd recommend him, use him again, and consider him a friend as well as a professional. Doug is a credit to Century 21. Doug helped me with every aspect of finding and buying my home. He set me up with lenders and I was able to get preapproved , he showed me a ton of houses until I found one I liked that I could afford, and he stayed with me through every step of the closing which I managed to royally mess up. Even now if I have a question or just want to say hi, he responds within minutes. Simply stated, Doug Jacobs is a terrific realtor and a really nice guy.

My husband and I found Doug Jacobs on IdealAgent.com. We really didn't know what kind of agent he was going to be and only talked to him on the phone. We no longer live in Gainesville GA. He was patient and understanding regarding our apprehension of selling our house with a tenant still in place. Before we even met face to face he was already laying the groundwork in reassuring our tenant his respect for her privacy, but he also had enough confidence and leadership ability in making sure she cooperated during the process. He dealt with that major obstacle with patience and professionalism when most people would have lost their cool with a difficult person who could have sabotaged a sale. He earned extra stars. Doug also had many connections with almost any kind of vendor needed to prepare the house for sale. We actually had 3 offers on the house before the final one was accepted on day 10. Once we were under contract, Doug Jacobs continued his nonstop assistance in the process. He would take time out of his business day to help with tenant issues or even last minute landscaping issues when he could be using that time for his next sale.
