As first time home buyers that were new to the area, my husband and I did not have a clue as to where to start nor did we know anything about the home buying process. A friend of mine mentioned that she recently bought a home and referred us to Jacob Schneider. We are so thankful for that introduction. From the first phone call with Jake, we felt assured that he was competent, knowledgeable and easy to work with. If you are looking for a realtor that is extremely responsive, Jake is your guy. Jake was always on time and just a phone call away. I truly appreciated that I could call him or text him with any questions and receive an answer within minutes. Jake dealt with our busy schedule and was always available for showings (even on Saturdays during the summer). We so appreciated his flexibility with his schedule. As for the actual showings, Jake is very open and honest about the housing market and was very candid if he thought that a house was not worth our time (we were commuting from Chicago to look at homes in the lake country area). Our search criteria for a home before meeting Jake was very wide Not only did he help us narrow that down but he even provided suggestions on where the locals go so that we could get a better feel for the area and neighborhoods. Once we decided we wanted to make an offer, Jake prepared the documents within an hour (on a Saturday afternoon mind you). He was present for the home inspection and was essential to our negotiations with the seller. We are so grateful for his expertise and his vast network (all of his recommendations/contacts in the home buying process have been worth their weight in gold). We would recommend Jake to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home, he was just absolutely wonderful to work with.
