We wanted someone who wouldn't make us feel like we were being 'too much'. When we purchased our first home, every time we asked a question, it was like we were asking so much our of our broker. This time around we wanted to me be sure that we could ask as many questions as we needed, take as long as we needed to find 'the one' and that our broker would be available to help us along this journey. When we first met with Michelle, we could tell things were already going to be different. She took the time to sit with us to REALLY get to know us and our needs. She explained at that very first meeting that we would never need to worry about feeling rushed into anything. We told her our needs, but also explained that we had a lot of undetermined things, like location and price point...two kind of HUGE things when buying a home. Michelle worked with us and never pushed one thing or another. She was willing to let us look at as many homes as we wanted, and was never bothered when we brought a home to her that we'd found as we did our own looking on the side ;)

When it came time to make an offer, and then go through the inspection/appraisal/escrow process, Michelle was with us 100% of the way. When things got a little tricky with some of our negotiations, she went after it and made the process so much less stressful than it could have been.

Before my mother died she said that she wanted Ron to have the listing. I live 10 hours away so it was important to me to have someone that was understanding of my situation, and Ron was there to oversee things that were my responsibility. He arranged for the comings and goings of companies hired to make repairs. He checked on the house daily when it was discovered it may not have been secured. My rating of "poor" has nothing at all to do with Don Webber, he was EXCELLENT in all aspects. The "poor" rating is for the first agent from Century 21 that we dealt with prior to having Don assigned to us. She never made a phone call to us to learn about what our likes and needs were, but rather, immediately started emailing us listings for houses with trigger words like "Wow" and "Fantastic". How could she know what #1) our budget is #2) what kind of house we wanted #3) what area we were interested in, without talking to us first?? This is why we are giving a rating of "poor" to her. You cannot try to help someone find a house when you have zero information to go on.

Don was very knowledgeable of the various areas that he showed us houses in. We valued his knowledge and expertise in helping guide us to the right town/area that we needed to be in. He hit the nail on the head! Don also took an entire weekend to shuttle me and the wife around the greater Sacramento area for up to 8 hours each day. He was very patient through the whole process. I was on the fence regarding selling my duplex...I've got so much going on I really didn't want a long drawn out process. Jannay tactfully stayed in touch with me and notified me that 'duplexes' were her specialty. I'd considered 3 or 4 other realtors...none of them were as knowledgeable as Jannay. I told her that I did not want to frustrate my tenants...I wanted a competitive price but also wanted to sell within 4 - 6 weeks. She did the ALL the coordinating with the tenants, she nailed the price, she had 4 offers on the first day. I would recommend her to any of my friends and associates.

Jannay's experience in analyzing several offers to determine which one was the most likely to get through escrow without complications was crucial. The first one she recommended went the distance and sold within 4 weeks! Again, my two main values in this sale was to get as much as I could for my property but I also wanted the whole process to be less than 6 weeks long. These two values are in opposition to each other...they need to be balanced. Jannay did this very well. She will get my future business.

My overall experience included an insurance claim due to vandalism during the brief period when the property was vacant. I had already relocated to Nevada and Jannay took complete ownership and control of communicating with the insurance company on my behalf as well as making the arrangements for the work that was required to rehabilitate the home. I cannot thank her enough!!!!

Through the process of negotiating with the buyer's agent, Jannay represented my best interests thoroughly and diligently. She was able to accomplish my 'bottom line' goal even after the buyer's offer came in well short of my expectations. I was also pleasantly surprised and appreciative that the home sold after being on the market for about 30 days.

Jannay is a polished professional. I appreciated her efforts as well as the efforts of her support staff at Century 21-The Murphy Team. I would, and will, enthustiastically recommend Jannay to anyone who requires the services of a dedicated and professional realtor.

Ron started out running. He had pictures and postcards and Internet presentation immediately.

I was out of town the entire time and the house had several issues that needed to be resolved before it could be presented.

The house was a rental and the last tenant had pets that damaged the carpeting and the shutters. Ron dealt with the workmen that fixed the pet issues and cleaned up the windows and arranged flowers in the planter, and then priced the house at what I thought was probably too high.

He held the open house and immediately got an offer.

The prospective buyer wanted a new roof installed which seemed a fair offer, so Ron did all the leg work to get bids for the roof and get the authority from a very sluggish and incompetent Hoa association. Ron negotiated a great price for the roof amongst several contractors. There was a lot of effort to get the Hoa to do their jobs.

Also during the process there were power issues that caused the pool equipment to malfunction.

Ron handled these issues, and I never had to do anything.

Ron also was able to send all the documents for the service work and the house sales by email.

I never met Ron face to face, but I like him and respect the hard work he did for me to sell this home.
