Our home search area started out very large and Wendy's knowledge of the area combined with her listening well to our desires helped us to narrow it down. She paid attention to every detail -- whether it was information we shared about our wishes or noticing little things in houses that we visited. We were buying from out of town and she went above and beyond to make sure our home purchase went smoothly even when we were not in the area. When Wendy was unavoidably unavailable, her counterpart Devin jumped in and provided the same level of expertise and quick assistance. Wendy was referred to us by a co-worker of my brother Dave. He was terminally ill and we needed to sell his house as part of the eventual estate. This person (I am sorry, I do not remember a name) was very complimentary of Wendy and recommended her highly. Wendy came into a very difficult situation. My brother had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was fading very quickly. She came over to his house and met with my sister and I during this emotional and challenging family situation and we were both so impressed and happy with how she handled things. She was compassionate and sought to make this part of the ordeal as easy on us as possible. It is hard to overstate our appreciation for the way she approached the entire situation. My sister and I were extremely satisfied with all aspects of the sale. It was difficult because I live about 3 hours away (Iowa Quad Cities) and my sister lives in Atlanta. Basically we were able to sign paperwork and turn everything over to Wendy. I cannot express enough how happy we were with her service. She kept us informed every step of the way and made it very easy for us to do everything via email/fax/scan etc. to save us from having to make multiple trips to Madison. As I stated before, Wendy was so impressive in how she handled the entire situation. My sister and I are so grateful for her service. She went above and beyond in so many different ways it is hard to describe all of them. She was very easy to get ahold of and very proactive in keeping me informed of any developments. She was kind, compassionate (with the difficult circumstances), helpful, and I really felt like I had a friend who was looking out for my best interests. I would highly recommend Wendy Grunewald to anyone looking for a realtor. She is a strong advocate for her client's best interests, provides excellent service, is a very good communicator, and makes the entire process as worry-free as possible.
