When we moved back to Bemidji 11 years ago, Bill Oakes was our agent at that time. We were very satisfied with our results from that home search and purchase. So, when we were ready to move again, we didn't even consider working with anyone else. Bill Oaks is a great listener. When we sat down with him and told him what our ideal house would look like, he got us. We had a very specific type of property in mind, and Bill was able to do the practically impossible by finding a new place that our whole family loves. Bill is very personable, approachable, and a good communicator. He is professional and knowledgeable in all the aspects of buying and selling houses, as well as really good at reading people, which is an excellent skill to have in his job. My family is very thankful to have had Bill Oakes helping us find our dream house, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell in this area.

Bill Oakes has been a friend for many years. He was our agent when we moved back to Bemidji 11 years ago. He was excellent then, and even more experienced and professional now. We never even considered working with anyone else. Bill worked really hard to help us hit the ground running with getting our house on the market, which helped our house sell quickly. He had excellent ideas on ways to increase the value and marketability of our house. Bill is very professional and knowledgeable, and at the same time very approachable and comfortable to work with. He really listened to us and we felt like we were working together as a team with Bill, with the goal of getting our house on the market and sold as quickly as possible. Selling a house is a stressful time. Bill made that process run as smoothly as possible for us, while helping us keep things in a healthy perspective.
