Your Beacon to the American Dream Lighthouse Team Lead Tom Millar and his wife Paula moved to the Northern Virginia area with their four children when he was stationed there in late 1995 with the Air Force. After another 10 years and two back-to-back military assignments, he completed a satisfying career in the United States Air Force retiring with 20 years of service as a Major and Chief Systems Engineer for a large defense communications organization in the area.
Choosing Real Estate Having completed engineering degrees at Arizona State University and Stanford University, Tom was well poised to continue on as a Defense contractor…but there was something missing. He felt God was leading him to something different where he could help people in more tangible ways. Real Estate seemed to be a natural transition, and he began his Real Estate career in early 2004.
Now, after 12 years and closing on over 330 transactions, Tom and The Lighthouse Team has the experience base you need to help you with a listing or a purchase in the Northern Virginia area. Ranked the #17 top producer in the Mid-Atlantic, Tom leads the Lighthouse Team consisting of Bill DePugh (USAF Retired military), Rebecca Ferguson, Kelsi Andrade, Maggie Angell, and Sara Rudolph.
Area Expertise Lighthouse Team Real Estate is very familiar with the Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun County areas, having helped hundreds of buyers and sellers in all three counties. Living in Prince William County and having an office in Fairfax county enhances our exposure to and ability to serve these areas.

Buyer reviewDuncan Ferguson was exactly the type of broker you want when buying a property. He had a seemingly infinite patience as we worked through LOTS of options learning what we did and didn't want in our home. He always had a ready smile, sound advice and great insight into things about the homes we might not have noticed. In our particular case, the negotiations for the home we purchased were complicated and frustrating, but Duncan navigated all of it professionally and with a wisdom one rarely sees anymore. He was able to keep our heads where we needed to be while also working tirelessly to bring it all together. I cannot recommend Duncan and the entire Century 21 New Millennium team highly enough. They made the process easy and worry-free from start to finish.

Seller reviewTom Millar did a fantastic job in helping us sell our house in Bristow. This was the second time we worked with Tom and not only did he have our house sold quickly (within 3 days) but he also he also was able to negotiate a sale over asking price. While we are hoping we have moved into our "forever" home, should we need a realtor in the future, we will certainly look forward to working with Tom and the Century 21 New Millennium Team!

Seller reviewTom Millar and his office set our property up to be a rental when we moved out five years ago and did a great job with the required maintenance for a quick rental. Once our tenants moved out this Spring, we contacted Tom for a market assessment for selling or renting again and he did an amazing job. Tom Millar laid out the process in advance for which improvements to do at what cost for a fast and high value sale. Everything happened exactly as described. The improvements cost exactly what Tom said they would cost and took as long as anticipated. Once on the market, the offers came in quickly at the requested price. Tom Millar kept us in the loop the entire time from improvements to listing to showing to offers to inspections, appraisals and closing. The entire team at Century 22 New Millennium kept us informed throughout the process. It was a great experience. Excellent service from start to finish.
