Your Beacon to the American Dream Lighthouse Team Lead Tom Millar and his wife Paula moved to the Northern Virginia area with their four children when he was stationed there in late 1995 with the Air Force. After another 10 years and two back-to-back military assignments, he completed a satisfying career in the United States Air Force retiring with 20 years of service as a Major and Chief Systems Engineer for a large defense communications organization in the area.
Choosing Real Estate Having completed engineering degrees at Arizona State University and Stanford University, Tom was well poised to continue on as a Defense contractor…but there was something missing. He felt God was leading him to something different where he could help people in more tangible ways. Real Estate seemed to be a natural transition, and he began his Real Estate career in early 2004.
Now, after 12 years and closing on over 330 transactions, Tom and The Lighthouse Team has the experience base you need to help you with a listing or a purchase in the Northern Virginia area. Ranked the #17 top producer in the Mid-Atlantic, Tom leads the Lighthouse Team consisting of Bill DePugh (USAF Retired military), Rebecca Ferguson, Kelsi Andrade, Maggie Angell, and Sara Rudolph.
Area Expertise Lighthouse Team Real Estate is very familiar with the Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun County areas, having helped hundreds of buyers and sellers in all three counties. Living in Prince William County and having an office in Fairfax county enhances our exposure to and ability to serve these areas.

Buyer reviewDuncan was absolutely amazing to work with! I went through several realtors prior to Duncan and none of them came remotely close to the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall positive attitude that Duncan had. Duncan was always responsive and always worked in our best interest, never steering me astray. Duncan also used his personal knowledge in home improvement to address concerns that arose with some tours and suggestions/impact of any malfunctions or complications found in the homes. Duncan was very approachable and spent countless hours to ensure we ended up in the house that we were meant to be in. Working overnight, my schedule was very limited; however, Duncan still did everything possibly to work around my complicated schedule, and made ends meet even on very short notice! When we first met with Duncan, he had us sit down and had presented a slide show explaining all what his team had stood for and made a promise to provide excellent service to us, which he fully fulfilled. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor and will highly recommend Duncan to anyone who asks!

Seller reviewTom introduced himself to me several years ago by phone. Through the years, he maintained contact and always offered to sell my home when I was ready. One of the key factors in moving forward with Tom was his ties to C21 because I needed another seasoned Agent in Texas to assist with the purchase of my home there. C21 having been around for decades and after getting to know Tom, I knew it was best to partner. Tom laid out his plan and executed as outlined. My daughter was so impressed with how everything went so smoothly. Thank you New Millennium! Well executed customer service and home sale plan! Tom showed me years ago that he loves what he does, the main reason why I went with him. His professionalism, interpersonal communication and team management skills were outstanding and resulted in a smooth home sale. My stress was minimal during this home sale that is an indicator of an excellent, caring realtor like Tom.

We never felt like we were bothering him with our questions as he was always enthusiastic and respectful with his responses no matter how trivial or cumbersome they might be. He seems to be a good human being beyond his professional services side and that was truly appreciated! We were previously dealing with another realtor company which offered cheaper commissions but they were not interested beyond pushing us to put in extravagant offers that we still lost on, which proved to us that offers rely on more than just a high offer. We wanted to get a realtor that cared, had good communication skills and knew how the market worked and could work with selling agents to help us score our future home, and this was exactly what Duncan and his team did for us! It's truly the entire team that helped us through the process and everyone is patient, respectful and optimistic throughout. Truly world class service delivered!
