"I liked ORHS for its diversity and it's acceptance. The school created a cluture founded on celebrating the differences of people. There are numerous clubs focused on different ethnicities and cultures. For example there are the two Filipino clubs, Bayanihan, and Pangkat Sayaw a club that teachers traditional Filipino dances, Japanese Club, and Black Student Union. We also have clubs such as the Gay-Straight alliance and Genders United. By exposing students to clubs that embrace differences there is a lack of bullying in our campus for the students don't see the differences as anything out of the ordinary. ORHS guides students into becoming the type of person to embrace what make people unique and help others take pride in themselves."

"Overall, Otay Ranch High provided me with teachers and peers which helped me gauge my overall progress in moving towards my future. Academically, Otay Ranch had helped me succeed over the past few years by their diligence to make sure that their students are well-prepared and have a game plan for their future. Although many people would object and disagree with my statements, that would be from their personal bias towards the school. However, personally, the amount of diversity and college readiness that this school has to offer is absolutely astonishing."

"My experience at Otay Ranch High school is generally pleasant. I like the open campus experience it is very amazing. I like that the teachers on campus really connect with their students and make them feel more comfortable in the classroom.. I like that the school offers many extra curricular activities like the ability to join the Robotics club and being able to run for a position in the associated student body. One thing i would change in the school is offering more Advanced Placement classes for the lower class men. I feel like if if more challenging classes were being made available to them students would be able to push themselves and get a feel for college level courses instead of waiting until their junior and senior year to take more challenging classes."

"I love Otay Ranch High School. This school is all about being a family and I think that is the best part. I have been attending Otay Ranch High School since I was a freshman. I enjoy going to school to see my friends and as well as my teachers. If you are looking for a school in the Sweetwater Union District check out Otay Ranch. The one thing I would like to see change is the school lunch and the diversity. There isn't many African-Americans and I would hope to see that in the future."
