"I thoroughly appreciated my time at LCC. It was challenging but rewarding, and a great place to grow. The supportive teachers were definitely the highlight, as well as the sports; the student community could get clique-y, but all in all the outdoors layout of the campus made for a very chill, positive environment."

"La Costa Canyon connected me with opportunities that I would not have had at other schools in the area. I will always be grateful for the time I spent there and I think it's an amazing place to go to high school, especially if some higher reach colleges are in your prospects. However, the school lacks some unity and diversity, and caters mostly to students who are interested in athletics."

"I had a positive experience at LCC. As a college student, I feel like I was prepared well for college level academics and am forever grateful for my educators at LCC. Being involved in the engineering/architecture elective programs help steer me in the direction of my career path. LCC offers activities for everyone and you have the opportunity to create your own path for life after high school. The Spanish program is AMAZING and I would highly recommend taking Spanish every year with the department. It's fun to go to sporting events and the art exhibits to support your fellow students as well. Take the opportunity at LCC to branch out and try new things. Take the opportunity to find a career or life path after high school that you'll truly enjoy. I will always look back at LCC with fond memories."

"My over all experience with La Costa Canyon High School as been ok. I was not involved in any sports or in an activities at La Costa Canyon High School so it was difficult for me to make friends and fit in. My grades were 3.5 and higher and at times I felt like that gpa was not high enough for our school. A 3.5 gpa is a fantastic gpa but it goes unnoticed at such a school like La Costa Canyon High School. I did work a lot and volunteered a lot during my four years at La Costa Canyon. I liked most of my teachers and all of the counselors. I just wish that the administration would listen to complaints an follow up on the issues. My overall experience with my high school was just average. I wish it had more to offer me but I and very pleased with my overall grades and am looking forward to going onto college in the next couple of months."
