You should hire Nancy whether sell or buy a real estate, period.
Nancy is very patient, polite and professional. Due to the competitive market condition in 2021, it had been hard for us as buyers. Nancy spent 5 months with us every weekends checking out whatever is on the market. We pretty much looked at over a hundred of houses. During this process, Nancy has never tried to push us, instead, she always provides her honest and professional opinions about each house, and only recommends the houses that are really fit for our criteria, and then leave us the room to decide. One time we were in the escrow process already, however we decided to back out due to our own reasons. Nancy helped us a lot during that whole process and she totally understood and respected our decision, although that means she has to restart all the work again.
For most agents, once the escrow started, they wouldn't bother spending more time showing new houses to the client. But Nancy is different. She always suggest us to check out new houses on the market during escrow since nothing is finalized yet. That tells me that all she cares about is to get her clients the ideal home, and she certainly doesn't mind doing more work to help her clients achieve that.
Nancy is very experienced in this field. As mentioned above, we backed out from one deal earlier, and Nancy handled that entire process and got our deposit back. Also on the house we eventually bought, due to some error in the appraisal the closing date had to be pushed back a few days. Seller side then tried to request per diem compensation. Nancy handled that entire issue and avoided this loss for us. For average agents, maybe they can handle regular deals without problems, however, when issue occurs, you need someone like Nancy on your side.
Nancy is very responsible and meticulous. I still remember that first offer we made, Nancy spent over an hour walking through every single item on the offer so that we know what we are signing up for. Another example, Nancy got us the home inspector she trusts with very decent price. She followed through the whole process and listed down all the repairs needed. She then talked to the seller side and got us a decent credit back.
Nancy is very easy going and happy to talk with. She shares a lot of interesting useful stories experiences with us, so that we feel comfortable and relaxed during this house hunting process. We have already become friends a long time ago :)
