After an exhaustive online search for properties in the Chattanooga area, I submitted a request to be contacted by a local agent. Within moments, Brenda Pargeon reached out to me and took an immediate interest in learning about my goals and what kind of property I was looking for. At the onset, my goal was to purchase a single-family investment property, but after researching what was available in the Chattanooga area, I changed course and pursued a duplex. Brenda was totally open to changing direction and was very patient as my parameters changed. She sent me several leads and was readily available to discuss various properties and field my questions. When I finally found "the one," I contacted Brenda only to learn that the subject property was already under contract. Disheartened and unable to find another property that met my requirements, I moved on to another market. Two weeks later, Brenda contacted me to let me know that the property I was interested in was again available as financing fell through with the original buyer. Thus, I ended up submitting an offer and successfully landed in Chattanooga per my original plan! I was very impressed that Brenda kept her eyes open and proactively reached out to me to keep me informed, even after I had moved on to pursue a different market.
