My wife and I purchased a home from Tom and also sold a property with Tom. He is connected to the community and knows so much about the rules of the community. This is what we liked. When buying you need to know what restrictions there are for realistic remodeling. His knowledge is building inspections as well as local zoning is a must for any buyer.
He is honest and doesn't "sugar coat" are minimize defects of a property in order to make a sale. He give you his honest opinion even if you don't want to hear it.
We really felt that he is working for us and with us.

We saw Tom's signs on property near our cabin and felt that he would already by familiar with the area and would therefore be able to promote our lake and our cabin.
Tom was able to get For Sale signs up before the critical 4th of July weekend despite our signing a contract with Century 21 only days before that. His extra effort produced an offer to purchase within a week! We were pleasantly surprised receiving an offer so quickly after seeing other properties lingering for months and even years.
Tom's background in surveying and zoning made his expertise invaluable. We were traveling at the time of the offer and Tom's patience in contacting us and keeping us informed was really appreciated.
He went well beyond the call of duty working weekends to make the property attractive and to quickly satisfy requests from the buyers.
We relied on Tom's knowledge of the real estate situation in the northwoods as well as on his background as surveyor and felt every piece of advice he gave us was spot-on. What could have been a nerve-wracking situation with our traveling during much of the negotiations, turned into a pleasant experience due to Tom's efforts.
Overall, we were thrilled working with Tom and benefiting from his experience. It was way beyond our expectations that the sale went through so quickly and easily.
