I’ll be the first to admit it—I’ve seen better days. I’m a single-level, 3-bedroom, 1-bath home that once held promise but now find myself in desperate need of a full makeover. My two living rooms have hosted plenty of memories, though my walls could use more than just a fresh coat of paint to bring them back to life. My eat-in kitchen was once the heart of the house, but let’s just say it could use a new heartbeat. Outside, I do offer a covered porch where you can picture yourself enjoying the fresh air, though the dilapidated garage with its makeshift carport is probably more comic relief than practical shelter. I sit on a 1-acre lot, close enough to the road to make me convenient but not exactly secluded. What I lack in polish, I make up for in location—just 1.8 miles away is Corinth’s Northeast Slopes, a community ski hill with 36 acres of terrain, rope tows, and a cozy base lodge.
