I actually didn't hire Jorge be my agent from the start. When I met him I heard him talking to a family and I was impressed with his knowledge. I tried fishing for information but he was good and only spoke in general terms. I had just bought a property from a neighbor and needed help. After going in circles for two months I called Jorge and asked for help. Because I could not guarantee him a listing contract, I hired his consulting company to help with everything. In one week he has hooked me up with some good contractors and had given me suggestions on designs that were impressive. He also helped me reconfigure the floor plan. The property was amazing! When time to came to sell it, my girlfriend who was a realtor had comped the property out for us. The two best comparables were properties sold by Jorge that he happened to have owned. They were sold off market and were not listed on the MLS. After speaking to two appraisers, the appriser told us that without informTion on them, it would be hard to use both of those comps. Since they were well over $100,000 higher than the rest, we needed to use them. Jorge agreed to provide all of the information to the appraisers if we agreed to list the property with him. So we did and we are glad! We got $15,000 more than he did for his. When you want top dollar, buyers aren't rushing to buy. His strategy was genius. We were actually in escrow three times and nobody ever knew we had even gone into escrow before. Jorge is brilliant! He treated our property as if it was his. He takes things personal and gets very invested in everything. What an amazing experience. Thank you. Can't wait to do it again. Even my gf was impressed and learned so much.
