Meet Lauree Watkins - Your Neighborhood Realtor As a Georgia native raised in Savannah, I came to the Atlanta area in 1990 upon graduation from the University of Georgia. With a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a Sales Concentration, I was very fortunate to have worked both in inside and outside sales for various business forms companies; most recently as a contract employee at Coca-Cola USA within the forms management department. I have extensive knowledge in all facets of customer relations including negotiations, marketing, and communications and am very excited to bring that expertise to my real estate business! Happily married to my husband Trace for almost 25 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters. I have been a resident of South Forsyth County since 1993 and have seen the many changes and growth to this area over the last 21+ years! People dont believe me when I say I moved here when McGinnis Ferry and Old Atlanta Road was a 2 way stop sign…but its true! I strongly believe in the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to help others - especially kids! I am a Girl Scout Leader and Volunteer and have been one for the last 12 years helping young girls be the voice they need to be in todays world! I also enjoy volunteering at my church, St. Columbas Episcopal, and working with the youth program there. When not selling real estate, you can find me playing tennis out of the Olde Atlanta Club neighborhood and rummaging through estate sales looking for the perfect find! I specialize in the sale of new (my husband is a Residential General Contractor - a great source of knowledge to me!) and existing homes in the Northeast Corridor of Atlanta focusing primarily in the Forsyth, North Fulton, and Gwinett areas. I am very passionate about serving others and look forward to starting each day meeting new people and finding ways to help them reach their real estate goals! Seller reviewWe selected Lauree based on her extensive knowledge of OAC neighborhood and her connections within the community in order to find us the property we wanted. We were very specific in what we were looking for and Lauree was very understanding and patient with us. Lauree brought us to several properties which not only met our criteria but were also not on the market yet. Before our home was even on the MLS, Lauree was actively marketing it. She brought many agents over to preview the home and even brought through several potential buyers. Lauree was very diligent in following up and pursuing ALL leads and perspective buyers. Lauree was always available to answer our questions and was very quick to follow up with any questions we had. During both sides of our transaction, the buying and selling, she was several steps ahead at all times. She worked well with the other agents involved and managed to keep everything flowing smoothly and on time. Lauree was ALWAYS professional, personable and knowledgeable, we highly recommend her to our friends and neighbors and would absolutely use her services again. Thank you Lauree!

Seller reviewI could not have possible sold my home In Old Atlanta Club With the Help of Lauree Watkins. What an incredible agent! From day one she was there for me making recommendations and making sure that the house was being presented in the best light. She coordinated and helped with the staging. Pushing me on gently to insure everything got done to put our best foot forward. She carefully made sure the photos were perfect and handled the Zillow site with great care and knowledge. She helped make sure the appraisal came in as high as possible. As a single mom going thru this alone she was there as an agent and a friend! Of course our offer came from one of her open houses in which her presence and knowledge of the home made the sale, and only two weeks after listing. We did hit some rough waters with the buyer finalizing some complicated refinancing in California, but like everything Lauree does she dug in and refused to give up. She and Terry, her broker, came up with a solution to the problem and we ended up at the closing table with an incredible couple that are now the proud owners of the home I so loved for twenty one years! Moving is very stressful but Lauree took a huge load off of our plate and helped us through the process of moving across the country. Lauree had a true interest in respecting our wants and needs, but also in getting the results to maintain the high standards of the Olde Atlanta Club. Lauree sat down with us in the beginning to understand our situation, needs, and desires with respect to selling our home. We were on a compressed timeline of a transfer and complicating matters more was a relocation company. Lauree took these matters to heart and addressed all our needs. Lauree prepared a comprehensive marketing strategy and made recommendations as to what we could do to the house to make it show better. Lauree came to the table with a pricing recommendation to sell the house within our time frame and the comps to back up. It was a testament to that preparation, when we received feedback from other realtors, who said it was priced perfect.
