Christopher Greenwood
When you are buying or selling a home, experience matters. Not just experience in real estate, but experience leading people, solving problems, making important decisions, and remaining steady when the stakes are high.
Before entering real estate, I spent more than 35 years in manufacturing, beginning as a Quality Engineer and ultimately serving as Plant Manager of a facility with more than 200 employees. Along the way, I held leadership roles in quality management, environmental health and safety, and operations. That career taught me to communicate honestly, pay attention to details, solve complicated problems, and always remember the people affected by every decision. Those same principles guide the way I serve clients today.
I did not choose real estate simply because I wanted to sell houses. I chose it because I genuinely enjoy meeting people, earning their trust, and helping them through one of life's biggest decisions.
The Lake of the Ozarks has long been important to me personally and professionally. I spent approximately 10 years of my manufacturing career working at the Lake, followed by two years serving the area alongside my wife, Amanda. I initially worked with her part time, but as her business continued to grow, I left manufacturing and joined her full time.
My family's ties to Camden County date to the late 1800s. My great-grandfather, who answered to the unforgettable name of Julius Caesar Greenwood, lived to be 101 and is buried near A Road. One of his sons, my great-uncle, served as Camden County Sheriff in 1936. On the other side of my family, my grandfather helped construct Bagnell Dam. Those connections have given me a lasting appreciation for the Lake, its history, and the people who call it home.
Today, the Lake represents the largest part of my business, but I also serve buyers and sellers throughout the Fort Leonard Wood area and surrounding Central Missouri communities. Whether assisting with a waterfront or vacation property, military relocation, first home, or major life transition, my goal remains the same: provide honest advice, clear communication, careful preparation, and dependable service from beginning to end.
Life has taught me that every move has a story behind it. Having experienced both tremendous joy and difficult seasons, I understand that buying or selling a home is often about much more than real estate. It represents the next chapter, and I consider it a privilege to help clients navigate it.
Amanda and I share a blended family of seven children, including one who serves in the military. Raised by a disabled veteran, I have a deep respect for military families and the sacrifices that accompany service.
Working alongside Amanda is one of the greatest reasons I enjoy real estate. Building this business together truly feels like a dream come true. We are incredibly busy, but we are also incredibly happy. Real estate has become the most rewarding and enjoyable work of my career.
Outside of work, I am a lifelong outdoorsman who enjoys deer and turkey hunting. I also firmly believe blue catfish is the finest table fare the Lake has to offer, and you will probably have a hard time changing my mind. Live-fire cooking is another hobby I enjoy, and it is not unusual to find the offset smoker going at the office.
My promise is simple: work hard, communicate openly, take the details seriously, remain calm when challenges arise, and treat your transaction with the same care I would expect for my own family....
