Born and raised in Southern Boone County in the Englewood/Ashland area. I began a banking career with South County Bank in Ashland before relocating to Southern Randolph County. In 1976, I became employed by the Sturgeon State Bank in Sturgeon where I remained for 23 years. Through the years I worked my way up to Loan Department Manager, then to Loan Officer and Vice President. I left the banking industry in 1999, when I decided to change careers. Since 2001, I have been comfortable in the real estate business. The years of banking experience helped prepare me for the real estate world.
